Channel 5 - Interior Rivalry
Recently I was successful in being selected to take part in a pilot documentary show commissioned for Channel 5 for their Home Doctor network of programmes. The show, Ann Maurice - Interior Rivalry involved carrying out specific home presentation tasks whilst being trained in property styling by Ann Maurice and other well known TV designers. Tasks were judged by Ann and other TV celebrities with those not coming up to scratch being eliminated!. The show is being shown during September 2006. Since taking part in the programme I have already picked up commissions for home styling either to aid the sale of a property or to simply improve one that has become tired and dated. The satisfying factor is showing a client how to improve their home within a short period of time and at minimal cost and seeing the smiles on their faces once the transformation is complete....that's the final icing on the cake!
